Abstract: This paper is intended to set the basis for researching curves and surfaces with the tools of differential geometry so as to attain a description of the curves and surfaces parametrically with the purpose of introducing new and innovative principles in the process of solving possible statical and structural problems. Methods of parametric modelling in Grasshopper are investigated so as to use differential geometry as a tool to solve spatial and statical constraints of various problems.
