Abstract: This paper will present recent applications of renewable energy sources and research on the possibility of energy sustainability of water supply systems using renewable energy sources in a hybrid system as an external energy source, and utilization of available excess pressure in water supply systems through turbine pump operation. Emphasis is placed on solar photovoltaic power plants.
