Abstract: Technological advancement of the aircraft industry followed by the development of electric propulsion and technological paradigm towards the transition to electric aircraft will inevitably lead to key changes in architecture, primarily in terms of approach to airport design and redefinition of relevant design parameters, but also in the way of redefining the city and its functioning. Therefore, the advancement of aircraft technology and the transportation paradigm will result in shifts within the transportation infrastructure and significant updates regarding the traffic in the city. Overall the changes will lead to the redefinition of the design approach applied to the city and its urbanism. Le Corbusier's aircraft analyses are used in the research as study methods and are applied to two types of electric aircraft: eVTOL and electric airplanes. This paper aims to emphasize the importance of the relationship between changes in aircraft propulsion technology and architectural design. In addition, the goal is to explore how the development of electric aircraft will reflect not only on the concept and design of the airport but also on the overall future of transport organization and city functioning.
