Abstract: This paper presents monitoring equipment installation on Vranduk 1 bridge which is a part of a series of measurments that are being conducted for a doctoral thesis. Firstly, basic information about the bridge are shown. Total of eight strain gauges are installed on the bridge, five on concrete and three on steel. Four gauges are installed on concrete on edges inside the superstructure cross-section, and one gauge is installed on a concrete cube measuring 15x15x15cm for temperature compensation. Two gauges are installed on wires in prestressing cables, and one is installed on a piece of prestressing wire roughly 5cm long to compensate temperature. All strain gauges are inside the pierhead connected to measuring device using connecting cables. The monitoring will take place in construction phase over the course of four months.
